Life is a bitter-sweet thing,
A promising journey leading nowhere,
A beautiful castle made of sand,
And a story of sinners and saints.

All the dazzling colours of Spring,
its intoxicating fragrance,
and embracing arms of the sun,
will end in a cold dark night.

Gone are the songs and dance,
and the search of happiness.
Only silent snow falling on frozen ground.
But seeds will stir soon in the dark earth.
